Posted: Fri, Jun 17, 2011
Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today our crew woke up at Norman Island. We ate scrambled eggs and blueberry muffins. Soon after we set sail for Ginger Island. On the way we learned about crash jibing and how to prevent it. We also learned about true wind and apparent wind. We also learned about sail positions, such as broad reach, beam reach, and close reach. When we were there we had a scuba lesson which included how to put our equipment on, and swam for a while. Once we left we headed towards Savanna Bay and cooked alfredo pasta. Tonight we will have scuba academic two and three.
